Our Venturing Crew
is really fun, we meet usually the first Sunday of the month and have an activity 1-2
weeks later, we fish, hike, backpack, canoe, anything boyscouts do. We have about 23
members, seven being girls and all about 14-18 years old. We just started this year with a
big bang, my sister is the president and doing an excellent job, although the boys don't
seem to think she can handle it and give her trouble, I am the Secretary which makes it
easier on the president that the secretary lives in the same house so she doesn't have to
make many phone calls. If you think it sounds fun, contact a boy scout group and ask for
information on Venturing, they'll help you find a crew. Remember anything boys can do,
girls can do better!
